Aye, listen up ye landlubbers! Gar, Where can I find the Junior Achievement treasure?

Avast! Me hardies! Junior Achievement is holding their fundraiser BOWL FOR THE GOLD

The Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon is a Brazoria County tradition; it’s a great time and an important fund-raiser! Five person teams bowl for prizes, fun, and kids’ futures.  Teams choose from various shifts to bowl either at Angleton Spare Time or Alvin Bowl.

 Companies, employees, friends, family, co-workers, and individuals bowl and raise money for JA.  Teams traditionally bowl 3 games and pay a registration fee that includes tee-shirt, bowling & shoe expenses.  Each bowler collects pledges from anyone to everyone.  Prizes are awarded based on dollars collected and submitted to JA by the deadline. The player who raises the most over $1,500 will be awarded dinner valued at $150 and qualify for the Grand Prize.

PLACE:   Angleton Spare Time, 1040 Velasco St.

              Alvin Bowl, 300 E. Motel Dr.   

MISSION: Join as a sponsor and/or team and be a JA pirate helping bring Brazoria County students to JA success with Economics in our schools. Our newest programs: Dollar & Sense and Online Personal Finance.

TEAMS:     $75. adult team & $50. youth team (age 6-ll) (5 per team)

Companies, Families and Students are encouraged to bowl for the gold
